Understanding this fact, Leverage kicked off its first leadership training session today themed “Leveraging Leadership” at Shangrila, Colombo, amidst great reviews.
The training was conducted by Co-founder of Leverage and a Senior HR Manager in the country, Alqaaf Hameem, who brings in his years of invaluable experience spanning across Banking, Financial Intermediaries and Human Resources industries.
Leveraging Leadership is focused around understanding the modern day requirement of leadership, its demands, the various leadership style and situational leadership, the challenges of the modern day leader, various motivational techniques and bringing teams together.
Whilst wishing our future leaders all the very best in their future endeavors, we look forward to conduct the second edition of this series soon.

Ishan Noor, co-founder of Leverage is also a father of two and an avid believer of hard work, passion and accomplishing dreams. With more than a decade of corporate experience in a conglomerate and a blue chip company, he works as a sales manager for a reputed airline. A former Sri Lankan rugby player and having captained the prestigious CR&FC, Ishan has an undying passion for team work and helping others. Leverage, a brainchild of this undying passion, no doubt will help to empower the youth of Sri Lanka to achieve their financial freedom, thus changing their lives positively.

Alqaaf Hameem, co-founder of Leverage, brings in 15 years worth of experience in banking, financial markets and HR industries to the table. Currently a senior manager in a leading world-class corporate, his passion is to share his knowledge and develop the Human Resources of this country to compete with the global demand. His vision is to empower the Sri Lankan youth to achieve financial freedom, thereby help increase the GDP Per Capita to of the developed countries.

Ikrima Samman, an avid sports fan and a sportsperson since his college days always believed in hard work and effort to succeed in his own right. Contrary to the popular trend, he decided to venture out on his own since his younger days to build his own empire. Today, he is a successful entrepreneur with two businesses under his wing: one in the tourism industry catering the international customers and one in the pesticide industry catering to the local clientele.
Imparting his vast knowledge and experiences in order to empower the Sri Lankan youth, Ikrema co-founded Leverage. As a father of two, his vision is to help build the economy of this country that would one day help his kids thrive in prosperity.

Fazeem Fayaz
Co-founder of Leverage X CLM is one of the best forex analysts and traders in Sri Lanka.
Currently an ACCA student, Fazeem is a self-learnt trader, exploring new trading strategies to add to his repertoire.
His goal is to impart his knowledge to the youth of Sri Lanka and to empower them to achieve financial freedom.
