Kidventures

Kidventures Kidventures is an exciting, fun and educational after-school kids club providing thoughtful edu-tainment for children between 06 months and 6 years.

Brought to you by The American Preschool. What is Kidventures? Kidventures is far more than a kids’ play centre, it’s a well crafted after school adventure of fun, learning and creativity for your child! Our Mission is to provide children with experiences that stimulate and encourage their natural curiosity, creativity & imagination. Our Vision is to lead the way in Early Childhood Edutainment. We strive to be the leading innovators and providers of the best children’s edutainment that will help children explore and expand their imagination and talents. Our story
Kidventures was started by Mrs Ramona Pulle, who has been in the field of early childhood education since 1996. Having qualified at UCLA in early childhood education, she is an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, USA. Ramona is also the founder and Principal of The American Preschool, one of Sri lanka’s largest and most respected preschools. The school’s philosophy of “nurturing the whole child” where all 7 intelligences of the child is developed has, over the last 12 years, produced well balanced children who are confident and are able to think out of the box. After hearing many families bemoan the lack of age appropriate after school activities that are available for their young children in the city, and following numerous requests and encouragement by our parents at The American Preschool, we decided to make Kidventures a reality. Our facilities and educators
Located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood in prime residential area in central Colombo, we provide a warm, inviting and homely environment for your children. For the children to explore and discover, we have substantial open spaces including two large gardens for children to explore in a safe and secure, gated environment.

The Beach Clean up day by the Kids of the American Preschool!

Helping children understand the need to be environmentally conscious from a young. Our Marine Life theme over the last two months exposed our kids to the dangers of coastal pollution, oils spills and other ecological threats.

Our in-school training on picking up litter helped the kids to perform wonderfully at the beach clean up initiative today!

Thank you parents for your time, our educators!

Thank you to the beautiful Sugar Beach for kindly giving us the venue and refreshments!
