2010 වර්ෂයෙන් පසු උපන් සියලුම දූ දරුවන් දුම්කොළ භාවිතයෙන් තොර පරපුරක් බවට පත් කිරීමට නිර්දේශ ඇතුළත් යෝජනාවලිය සහිත සංකල්ප පත්‍රිකාව සෞඛ්‍ය හා ජනමාධ්‍ය අමාත්‍යවරයාට භාරදෙයි.

දුම්කොළ සහ මධ්‍යසාර පිළිබඳ ජාතික අධිකාරිය (NATA) විසින් දුම්කොළ ආශ්‍රිත නිෂ්පාදනවලින් අනාගත දරු පරපුර මුදා ගැනීම සඳහා විද්‍යාත්මක පදනමකින් යුතු වැඩපිළිවෙළක් සකස් කර ඇත.

ඒ අනුව 2010 වර්ෂයෙන් පසු මෙරට උපන් සියලුම දූ දරුවන් දුම්කොළ භාවිතයෙන් තොර පරපුරක් බවට පත් කිරීම සඳහා දුම්කොළ සහ මධ්‍යසාර පිළිබඳ ජාතික අධිකාරිය සකස් කරන ලද “Tobbaco Free Generation” සංකල්පය සඳහා වන නිර්දේශ ඇතුළත් යෝජනාවලිය සහිත සංකල්ප පත්‍රිකාව අදාළ නීතිමය ක්‍රියාමාර්ග ගැනීම සඳහා සෞඛ්‍ය හා ජනමාධ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය වෛද්‍ය නලින්ද ජයතිස්ස මහතාට සහ සෞඛ්‍ය හා ජනමාධ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශය වෙත භාරදීම දුම්කොළ සහ මධ්‍යසාර පිළිබඳ ජාතික අධිකාරියේ සභාපති විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍ය ආනන්ද රත්නායක සහ රජරට විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ වෛද්‍ය පීඨයේ එල්.එල් අමිල ඉසුරු යන මහත්වරුන් විසින් පසුගිය දා සෞඛ්‍ය හා ජනමාධ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශයේ දී සිදු කරන ලදී.

We are excited to share that ADIC and Youth Action Network -YAN Sri Lanka joined youth advocates from around the world at the AI Boot Camp to Enhance Youth Voices for Stronger To***co Control Policy held from April 16-18 in Bangkok, led by the Global Center for Good Governance in To***co Control and Global Youth Voices.

Together with 20 youth advocates from across countries, we joined to raise the voices of young people in to***co control and discuss current to***co industry strategies targeting youth. The boot camp especially explored how AI tools can shape impactful advocacy messaging, and drive campaigns ahead of key milestones like World No To***co Day.

ADIC shared Sri Lanka’s context, highlighting gaps in policy implementation and ongoing to***co industry tactics targeting young people. The exchange of experiences reinforced a shared commitment to counter industry influence and advocate for stronger protections against to***co and ni****ne products for future generations.

We look forward to continuing collaboration with youth leaders across regions to advance stronger to***co control globally! 🩵
