Our Story
Our aim as IHB (Institute of Hairdressers and Beauticians) is to raise the standards of hairdressing and beauty in South Asia by providing structured, internationally accredited courses in local languages.
The South Asian region is one of the fastest-growing regions for the industry with all companies in the industry trying to enter into the market. However, the education system in the region has not been able to grow as fast or keep up with the growth in the industry. The main difference between South Asia and the regions such as Europe or the USA is the fundamental education in the industry.
South Asians are easily one of the most creative and intelligent people in the world, however in this industry have been short-handed by education, IHB aims to fill that gap so that, the region has the opportunity to raise the standards and produce professionals in the top tier.
IHB courses are designed under the guidance of Nayana Karunarate, together with international pioneers of education such as Joakim Roos and many others.
