Our Vision
The vision of the club is to conquer the world of entertainment with innovations and experiments of tradition and modern dancing, to provide entertainment and a great relief for the minds of people. Although dancing has embellished the events at Royal College through its past, no-one has thought of making it more organized until the year 2000, when it was first introduced as a club. How
ever, in 2003 the Dancing Society was considered a failed society. It was revived once again with the new master in charge, Mr Sanath Abeykoon in year 2000. Under his guidance, a Ves mangalya was held for the first time in the school’s history. After this era, the club disappears again until 2009, when it resurfaces with a 'A' grade Society, Vishva Edirisinghe as chairman of the club in 2012. Since then, the Dancing Club has worked inside the school with a committed master in charge.
