Are you an exhausted parent of a 7 to 11 yr old, looking for an affordable way to keep your little one occupied , safe and happy, while learning at the same time?
Well look no further, for our all new afterschool camps are designed for you. They don't have a huge admission fee for we are truly passionate about making your little one's days happier.
10 plus years ago our mom-in-chief had a dream to create a kinder Colombo. She was tired of the judgement and selfishness. She was broken too but had a desire to heal those like her by the grace of God by coming together. We are extremely grateful to all of you for always coming together for our projects and rescues and apologies for the delay in deliveries lately of some orders as we do not work with any volunteers anymore and simply a team of single-mothers doing the best we can and forever on survival mode, hoping for better days.
We have identified the constant problems our mostly neurodivergent children go through in schools and public places and hope to solve these through our new project through GhedoraSenehasa, to provide weekly care , home work help, and learning through play for your kids aswell as ours. We hope to bring neurodivergent children together as we personally know how hard it is for them to make friends and feel accepted. We know how much they get bullied in schools and are continuously misunderstood for misbehaving or having meltdowns that teachers see as tantrums of spoilt children. We know how emotionally disregulated your children, if struggling in school feels and hope to help through fun weekly camps that don't have an admission fee and are limited to 10 children per camp. We also provide employment for our team of super-moms too through these camps .

We live in an increasingly fast-paced unkind world, where homes are but houses full of broken hearts and families. Love & kindness has been but forgotten and being happy seems but a thing in the past, people felt. Wars have become trends worldwide, but the worst wars seem to be those inside, houses, schools and even daycares sometimes. These are merely businesses now where children don't truly matter. Most children feel alone, unheard, unloved, and afraid , in such atmospheres , with their only escape being mobile phones and a digital world that seems kinder somehow. This addiction to screens leave many children disconnected from the real world and have poor concentration and high anxiety when without screens, causing neurodivergency in many.
We are happy to introduce our all new 'Afterschool Camps', a project by GhedoraSenehasa, designed to help your kids feel safe, loved & happy. They get to learn through play and build their confidence and make new long lasting friendships, too. We specialize on slow learners and those Neurodivergent children with learning disabilities. So please do DM us if you are looking for a space where your kids can be safe and happy, while you work or just get some much needed rest.
DM or WhatsApp for more info or to enroll your little one for one or more of our camps today! What's more is that there is no admission for these camps and they are conducted by kind mothers with early education qualifications and a passion to help all children get an equal opportunity to learn and grow to their fullest potential. We also provide weekly through these classes to less fortunate children in childcare. We hope to help them more as our camps grow.

Is your little one always struggling in school? Are you constantly tired of their meltdowns ?
kids have brains that function, learn, and process information differently from what is considered typical, encompassing conditions like autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and sensory processing issues. They may show unique strengths in creativity or pattern recognition while facing challenges with social cues, routines, or emotional regulation. Support involves personalized strategies, environmental adjustments, and fostering acceptance.
This is not a disability and if understood, it can possibly be a gift as many kids with Neurodivergency have grown up into doing great things like Albert Einstein. Your kids can live a very normal life and achieve their dreams too without having to be medicated, contrary to popular belief.
We are excited to help you and your children during these difficult times, navigate being Neurodivergent and enjoying school and having a normal happy childhood.

Children are suffering more now than ever before, and it is mostly due to how disconnected and toxic their families are. Many feel alone, heartbroken and betrayed. Many lives in houses not homes as there is not love to be found. Anxiety is not an easy thing to handle for anyone and especially a child. The Digital space is hence where many gen z & alpha kids escape to, just to feel better. This only makes living in the real world and school, seem like a nightmare. In Sri Lanka the school system makes a child struggling with mood disregulation feel stupid and a failure.
Time to connect in-person to help our littles live truly lives.
More info coming soon.

Child abuse & abandonement is not really spoken about here in Sri Lanka. Over these 10 years we have seen and continue to help children and especially boys from broken families and a sequence of bullying , that is very common for kids dealing with trauma.
Our schools , daycares and classes don't really cater to children who are struggling to stay happy, instead they prefer judging or scolding them for misbehaving or being disobedient.
This new year we will be conducting a series of different workshops for kids especially with neuro divergent or on the autism spectrum, that goes towards helping abandoned boys and those from broken less fortunate families.
Stay tuned for more.

A little late but here we go, please do message us for orders. We have got 5 brand new mothers onboard with us affected from 32 Watte in Rajagiriya and Wellampitiya. These five were selected through the respective ag offices and one of our mom's in each neighbourhood.
Along with those directly affected, our mom's and those on daily-wage and locally owned small-businesses have been affected badly this season by cyclone Ditwah and we hope to come together for a different kind of giving & gifting this Christmas. That is both meaningful and empowering rather than simply donations based.
We hope to also buy a small toy for as many little one's in each neighbourhood through these orders.
Meanwhile please stay tuned for collection points for gently used clothes , toys , school shoes and stationeries.

Day 01 of giving what we can to those we trusted started this Monday. Here are pictures of 32 watte and vilambeetha that had flooding in Rajagiriya, behind our meal maker Sammy's house.
We are GhedoraConnects have always been a community to voice the stories of the voiceless and provide hope through our programmes that uplift the lives of the most vulnerable unseen everyday heroes /super-mom makers of our meals and upcycles. We also have always been focused on providing to children of our mom's and those in rural and less fortunate neighbourhoods and schools we have worked with in the past, affected by Cyclone Ditwah.
After 10 years of being involved in disaster relief, we are not going to be involved in immediate relief for those affected by cyclone Ditwah but in uplifting our teams lives along with helping some of the small businesses we know who have supported us through these years keep going. Since Monday our founder & her little champ have been going around giving gently used items we had to two known parishes.
We also will be working towards spreading the joy of this season through yet again to our children and those from a few selected communities affected and selected schools affected by the floods. All back-to-school distributions to schools will be done directly to the school and through the help of our dear friends at
A gentle reminder from us to not make helping others a business but away of living. We hope to connect with more angles indisguise to spread the true meaning of Christmas this December and give all glory to God in everything we do.
Stay tuned for more updates soon, a tad bit slower than usual but soon enough. Until then, do what you can, even in the smallest possible way for as we have always said, every act of kindness will matter more than you know for someone suffering in silence and it sometimes doesn't even cost a thing. Amazing to see everyone come together this year but please do be mindful in how you provide relief. Not everyone is honest especially in Colombo.
DM to connect for donations, volunteer or more info.

Believe in yourself even if they don't.
10 years since being a voice and platform for the stories of the voiceless, unseen, forgotten, betrayed and broken. 10 years since trying to create employment for strong mother's I'm abusive relationships or widows with little or zero support from their families. We have decided to start posting more mental health issues because her mental health matters and is key when raising kind and happy children.
We are appalled at how pathetic our education system is when understanding children nowadays. Bullying is on the rise along with depression amongst children and especially boys who we have decided to fight for because they matter too, as much as girls. Their issues hardly get spoken about until they die.
We have realised that almost everyone in Sri Lanka and especially Colombo grow up in Narcissistic families . Let's come together to bring awareness to this abuse and know we are stronger together and are not who they tell us we are. Help us let the children of our team know this too because it hasn't been easy in school for them.
