KANDY DISTRICT SEF PATHWAY REPORT MARCH 2019

Mawilmada M.V.
The Principal provided a report on the success of the 3 Pathway students. During the interim period awaiting results, the 3 students in question underwent a course of studies at ESOFT arranged by SEF and one of them, at completion, was able to secure a place at Sampath Bank as a Trainee. The Principal assumes that the new batch of SEF Pathway students shall perform better. She informed that there were 2 other students in the wings needing financial assistance heading up to the Advance Level exams. She says that they are bright but extreme poverty is their setback, we have asked her to forward particulars.
Akurana Muslim Balika M.V.
The Principal, Asst. Teacher were met along with the successful GCE students, who may have secured University entrants. The Principal briefed of the poverty among students and non-availability of proper/regular meals. It was was informed that SEF shall support these students once a process is agreed.
Al-Hikma M.M.V
The Principal was met of Al-Hikma M.M.V. and met the Principal. All 3 Pathway students have done well and looking forward to enter Universities.
Next Kandy visit to check progress and have more interactive communication is scheduled for end April/1st week May (before Ramadhan).
