Master of Teacher Librarianship (MTL) 2026/2027

The one-year Master of Teacher Librarianship (MTL) is designed for educators aiming to lead or supervise school library and information resource centers. Conducted in Sinhala, Tamil, or English (depending on the number of applicants for each program), it includes seven core subjects and a research dissertation. Information literacy is a specialist subject area on gathering, organizing, assessing, and using information in a highly competitive AI dominating era.

The qualification is also recognized for promotions in Sri Lanka Education Administration Service and other.

MTL යනු පාසල් පුස්තකාල සහ තොරතුරු මධ්‍යස්ථාන කළමනාකරණය හෝ අධීක්ෂණය කිරීමෙහි යෙදී සිටින අධ්‍යාපනවේදීන් සඳහා නිර්මාණය කර ඇති වසරක පාඨමාලාවකි. සිංහල, දෙමළ හෝ ඉංග්‍රීසි මාධ්‍යයෙන් පවත්වනු ලබන මෙම වැඩසටහනට* ප්‍රධාන විෂයයන් හතක් සහ පර්යේෂණ ව්‍යාපෘතියක් ඇතුළත් වේ. කෘත්‍රිම බුද්ධිය (AI) මූලික කරගත් වර්තමාන තරගකාරී යුගය තුළ තොරතුරු රැස් කිරීම, සංවිධානය කිරීම, ඇගයීම සහ භාවිතය පිළිබඳ විශේෂිත විෂය ක්ෂේත්‍රයක් වන "තොරතුරු සාක්ෂරතාවය" පිළිබඳ මෙහිදී ගැඹුරින් සාකච්ඡා කෙරේ.

මෙම උපාධිය ශ්‍රී ලංකා අධ්‍යාපන පරිපාලන සේවය ඇතුළු වෙනත් තනතුරු සඳහා උසස්වීම් ලබා ගැනීමට ද පිළිගත් සුදුසුකමකි.
