📢 UK Graduate Visa Update (PSW)

The UK Government has announced changes to the Graduate Visa (PSW) route, effective 1 January 2027.

🔹 Key Changes:
• From 1 January 2027, the Graduate Visa duration will be reduced from 2 years to 18 months.
• Applicants who apply before 1 January 2027 will still receive 2 years, under the current rules.
• PhD graduates may continue to be eligible for 3 years, as before.

Several countries have recently made changes to their student visa requirements, all aimed at better reflecting the cost of living and administrative processing.

Starting September 1, 2025, the cost-of-living requirement for study permit applicants will rise to $22,895 CAD (up from $20,635). This update is part of a phased approach announced in December 2023 to align with inflation.
