We please pleased to inform you that our project, Developing and Empowering Youth Agro Entrepreneurs in Northern Province of Sri Lanka as a Solution for Youth Unemployment, has been selected as only finalist from Sri Lanka and short listed to final 154 proposals out of 852 proposals submitted. Please visit the link https://alumni.state.gov/aeif2012/finalist/march_18_2012/developing-and-empowering-youth-agro-entrepreneurs-in-northern-province-of-sri-lanka to view the project. According to the last year data, there are 37 projects have got funding and hope this year also will selected about 35 to 40. So, if we have good number of votes, there is a greater chance of getting selected.

Final selection will be based on the number of votes that each project received from the members who have registered in state alumni website (https://alumni.state.gov/home) and each member will have 05 votes which they can used only one per project. If you are a registered member, please vote for the project and if you are not registered still, please register first and then vote.

US Sri Lanka IVLP Alumni Association The Alumni Association was established to bring together the participants of the USIVLP program. Since it's inception, a workshop for women in leadership was conducted in Colombo, Jaffna, Kandy and Ampara.

Completed yet another successful "Women in Leadership' workshop for 120 students from Eastern University and South Eastern University. The workshop was held in Ampara.
