Zero Gravity, an award-winning EdTech startup based in Sri Lanka, is looking for enthusiastic individuals willing to apply for the post of Trainee - eLearning Developer.

What your role will entail:
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to develop storyboards for eLearning content.
Creation of video and interactive content
Working closely with clients on eLearning conversion projects

You will be provided with on-the-job-training during your internship!

What is required from you:
Creativity
Visualization skills
Excellent writing skills (Primarily English)
Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
Willingness to apply yourself
Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new things

Nice-to-Have:
Prior experience in copywriting, content development, or content creation
Design skills
eLearning authoring tool experience (Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline)
Experience or knowledge of education sector

We are proud to announce that Zero Gravity, one of Sri Lanka's leading Edtech startups, awarded the 'Best Companies in Education' award at the Education 2.0 conference held last week in Dubai.

The award was given by the Education 2.0 Organizing Committee in recognition of our contribution to the field of education based on education technology as well as our initiatives based on educational technology in achieving learning, training and development objectives in various sectors and industries.

The conference was attended by a large number of delegates from leading educational institutions, universities, schools as well as EdTech startups and companies representing a large number of countries around the world at the Intercontinental Hotel from March 23rd to 25th.

Wathsala Ruberu, the CEO of Zero Gravity, represented the company at the occasion and conducted a presentation about various projects that Zero Gravity plans to undertake in the future.

He also participated in a panel discussion on the topic of "Bridging The Industry Skills Gap Through Online Education & Corporate Training", and shared his thoughts and opinions.

The award was presented to us by Gauranga Das, a world-renowned inspirational speaker, leadership consultant and a corporate coach.

We look forward to continuing our commitment to the advancement of technology in education in our country, utilizing the experience gained at this conference as well as the relationships we have built.

Zero Gravity wins Big at the Global Stage!

Zero Gravity secured first place among numerous quality projects by participants from every continent of the globe at the recently held Adobe eLearning Design awards powered by eLearning Industry. This competition was held in search of the best-designed eLearning project. It was the first-ever global engagement of its kind by Adobe, which is the leading developer of content creation software. They joined hands with the eLearning Industry, the most recognized expert knowledge-sharing platform for eLearning, to award and recognize the best-designed eLearning project.

The innovative and creative entries in the competition displayed the highly competitive nature of the participants. This led the expert panel of judges to pick six top entries instead of the normative three, with three entries tied for first place and two entries tied for third place. Out of many competitive projects designed by talented professionals, Zero Gravity won first place along with two other projects from the UK and Georgia. Second place was won by teams from India while the USA and Croatia shared third place.

Wathsala Ruberu, Nuwan Kekulandara and Anupa Somasiri represented Zero Gravity in creating this project, which also featured Hirushi Jayasena and her remarkable presenting skills.
