A productive start towards a year of meaningful engagement, growth, and contribution.

The February Monthly Executive Committee Meeting of Rahula College Colombo OBA was successfully held on 21st February 2026 at Viluxey Hotel, Maharagama.
During the meeting, members warmly felicitated Prof. Namal Wijesinghe on his election as the President of the Ceylon College of Physicians. The gathering extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for his successful tenure.

Our OBA President, Consultant Cardiologist Professor Namal Wijesinghe, was elected as the President of the Ceylon College of Physicians on 9th January 2026. This is a proud moment that brings great glory to our Alma Mater. We wish Professor Namal Wijesinghe every success and good luck in his new role.

Note of Appreciation
Awards were presented to Consultant Cardiologist Dr. Roshan Paranamana, U.D.C. Dilumpriya, Hasantha Guruge, Gayan Ranawaka, Shasimal Dissanayaka, and Chamara Samarawickrama in recognition of outstanding dedication and service to the OBA in achieving its common objectives in 2025.
The awards were presented at Rahula Night, held on 25th October 2025 at Water’s Edge, Battaramulla.
The Chief Guest of the evening was the Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka.
