Official Launch of the 2nd Issue of Panhinda 💙

IBSL proudly launched the 2nd issue of Panhinda, a magazine that showcases the knowledge, insights and creative talents of the banking community.

Marking the occasion, IBSL Librarian and Chief Editor, Mrs. Shalika Arunashanthi, presented the first copy of the second edition of Panhinda to IBSL Chairman, Dr. Chandranath Amarasekara. The event took place in the presence of Vice Chairperson Mrs. Dilrukshini Watudura, Director General Mr. Asoka Rupasinghe, Director Administration & HR Mrs. Lakmini Siriwardena, and members of the magazine's editorial team.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all contributors for sharing their valuable articles, poems, short stories, verses and artworks making this publication a success.

The IBSL National Banking & Finance Conference brought together industry leaders and professionals for insightful discussions on digital transformation, financial sustainability, and the future of banking in Sri Lanka.

The conference also marked IBSL’s 60th anniversary, celebrating the launch of a commemorative stamp, the IBSL anthem, and the IBSL History Book.

The ceremonial launch of the IBSL History Book "The Journey Towards Excellence: The Story of IBSL" compiled by former Director–Librarian Mrs. Mangalika Gunathilake, was a key highlight of the event. The inaugural copy was formally presented to the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka by Mrs. Gunathilake.

In recognition of her valuable contribution, Mrs. Gunathilake was honoured with a commemorative memento, arranged by IBSL and presented by the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.

IABF Examination will not be conducted further and all candidates will be transferred to the new DBF Examination in due course.
