The Moir Alumni Scholarship Trust (MAST) was set up by Moir alumni to increase the access of top-tier secondary education for Sri Lankans of less financial privilege. Our goal is to support needy but dedicated and highly talented students attend sixth form at Elizabeth Moir School, and open doors that would otherwise not be available to them. MAST is a first in Sri Lanka as a scholarship trust set
In addition to a full tuition scholarship, the Alumni Scholar will receive hands on university guidance. University entrance becomes more competitive and more complicated each year, with more choices available to students but more variability in the quality of the courses offered.
Mrs. Moir has thirty years’ experience sending pupils to the best universities worldwide so students can rely on her advice to help them select the right course and university.

Prefects at Elizabeth Moir School are selected for Lower 6th and Upper 6th. Alumni Scholars will have the chance to perform during Lower 6th in order to be awarded Prefectship in Upper 6th, their final year of school.

The Alumni Scholarship covers tuition for 2 years of the 6th Form, and guarantees no need for outside classes/tuition outside school.

"Being awarded the Moir scholarship was a life changing event. I received the opportunity to attend an amazing school with fantastic teachers. The teachers were experts at guiding my studies and I felt less pressure than when I was studying for my Ordinary Levels. I made so many lifelong friends at Moir and spent many enjoyable hours at the debating club. When the time finally came to apply for universities, I had no idea what I was doing.
