Celebrating champions of democracy!

The Democracy in Our Language Social Media Competition Award Ceremony took place on January 24, 2024, at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute (SLFI). Winners in the Cartoon Category, Text-Based Post Category, and Short Video Category were honored during this ceremony. This award ceremony was held in parallel with the Democratic Youth Academy Certificate Awarding Ceremony.

Empowering the future leaders of democracy!

Honored to celebrate the Democratic Youth Academy Certificate Awarding Ceremony was held at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute (SLFI) on January 24, 2024. Congratulations to participants on receiving their certificates and district project awards! A vibrant and colorful event was graced by Her Excellency Bonnie Horbach, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands - Embassy of the Netherlands in Sri Lanka & Maldives, in the presence of Election Commission Members - Election Commission of Sri Lanka,Parliament Officials- Parliament of Sri Lanka, and esteemed Civil Society Members.

An inspiring showcase was held at the Democratic Youth Academy on January 24, 2024, at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute (SLFI). Youth Program participants presented their district projects. Privileged to have witnessed the grand opening of this event by Mr. Saman Sri Rathnayake, Commissioner General of Elections- Election Commission of Sri Lanka, and was graced by the presence of Her Excellency Bonnie Horbach, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands - Embassy of the Netherlands in Sri Lanka & Maldives, alongside Mrs. Christobel Saverimuttu, Co-Chairperson/Treasurer of PAFFREL - PAFFREL.
