The downturn of English results from the Advanced Level Examination is one of the key factors which influenced and motivated this club to be one of the most active English clubs of Royal College. Throughout the years AESIU has done many projects in various ways to achieve its one and only target, to benefit the students in the area of English. Learning a language or developing it is not one of the

main attractive thoughts the students have, but we as the AESIU promise to excel in improving and uplifting the academic section of Royal College. 2017/18 marked a major achievement for the unit as we were able to actively get involved in improving the English Language skills of the middle school students in addition to the students in the upper school. The AESIU hopes to use this foundation laid this year as a launching pad in the coming years to conduct projects to develop the language of all the students in Royal College to a commendable level. *Outreach'26 - Successfully Concluded*

The first phase was successfully concluded on the 1st of July at Sri Siddhartha Junior School. In this phase, our committee donated English workbooks to the students and conducted a workshop to support their learning.
