Colombo Institute of Life Sciences

Colombo Institute of Life Sciences (CILS) was established in 2016 as the training arm of Village 60 plus (Pvt.) Ltd., which is the largest private sector elder care provider in Sri Lanka, with a network of 5 homes having a 100 bed capacity. It is managed by doctors with vast experience specialized in the field of elder care.
CILS Training is provided through a joint venture with Village 60 Plus (Pvt.) Ltd., which has excellent facilities for practical and on the job training. All standard materials and equipment needed for training is available at CILS and the care homes of Village 60 plus (Pvt.) Ltd.
The Institute is registered with the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) of Sri Lanka and offer training courses leading up to National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) level 4.
CILS Training Institute has facilities to train in the Health Care Sector and in Languages, particularly in occupations such as Care Giver (Elder) specializing in Dementia and Alzheimer, Child Care, Nursing, Occupational Health & Safety etc.
