Historic Announcement: Cadets Commemoration Day Established at President's College!

In a monumental first for President’s College, the Alumni of Eastern Band and Cadets (AEBC) proudly announces the introduction of a Cadets Commemoration Day. With the support and approval of the College’s Principal, Mrs. Bhagya Rupasinghe, November 5th has officially been declared as Cadets Day—a landmark moment that will inspire and celebrate both current and future cadets of the College.

This inaugural Cadets Day will feature a series of prestigious events in collaboration with the School Management, AEBC members, the Founders Batch (1978-90), the President’s College Union (PCU), and the extended Presidentines Fraternity.

The ceremony will be graced by serving and retired members of the Tri-Forces, Police, and Paramilitary Services, all of whom are proud alumni of President’s College.

As part of this special occasion, the school will be presented with a new Flag Hoisting Area featuring four stainless steel flagpoles, generously funded by Mr. Manoj Upasena, a former Eastern Band member, alongside the Founders Batch. This gift symbolizes the enduring legacy of discipline and pride upheld by President’s College.

Fulfilling yet another milestone, AEBC is thrilled to announce that, with the funds raised from the "Voice of Presidents - Musical Concert 2024," three scholarships will be awarded to outstanding students in the fields of Aesthetics, Sports, and Academics. In addition, the current cadets will also be formally recognized during the celebrations.

We extend a warm invitation to all members of AEBC-PCK to be part of this historic event and join hands in celebrating the achievements and spirit of the President's College Cadets.

AEBC extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Bhagya Rupasinghe, Principal of President's College, for her unwavering support and approval in making this event a reality.

ඓතිහාසික නිවේදනය: ශිෂ්‍යභට අනුස්මරණ දිනය ජනාධිපති විද්‍යාලයේ ස්ථාපිත කෙරේ!

ජනාධිපති විද්‍යාලය සඳහා ස්මාරකයක් ලෙසින්, පෙරදිග තූර්ය වාදක හා ශිෂ්‍යභටයින්ගේ (AEBC) ආදි සිසුන් ශිෂ්‍යභට අනුස්මරණ දිනයක් හඳුන්වාදීම ආඩම්බරයෙන් නිවේදනය කරයි. විද්‍යාලයේ විදුහල්පති භාග්‍යා රූපසිංහ මහත්මියගේ සහයෝගය සහ අනුමැතිය ඇතිව, නොවැම්බර් 5 වන දින ශිෂ්‍යභට දිනය ලෙස නිල වශයෙන් ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කර ඇත - එය විද්‍යාලයේ වත්මන් සහ අනාගත ශිෂ්‍යභටයින් දෙපිරිසටම ප්‍රබෝධමත් කරන සහ සමරන සන්ධිස්ථානයකි.

මෙම සමාරම්භක ශිෂ්‍යභට දිනය පාසල් කළමනාකාරිත්වය, AEBC සාමාජිකයින්, ආරම්භක කණ්ඩායම (1978-90), ජනාධිපති විද්‍යාල සංගමය (PCU) සහ ආදි ජනාධිපතිවරුන්ගේ සහෝදරත්වය සමඟ සහයෝගයෙන් කීර්තිමත් සිදුවීම් මාලාවකින් සමන්විත වේ.

ජනාධිපති විද්‍යාලයේ අභිමානවත් ආදි ශිෂ්‍යයන් වන ත්‍රිවිධ හමුදාවේ, පොලිසියේ සහ පැරාමිලිටරි සේවාවන්හි සේවයේ නියුතු සහ විශ්‍රාමික සාමාජිකයින් මෙම උත්සවයට සහභාගී වීමට නියමිතය.

මෙම විශේෂ අවස්ථාවෙහි කොටසක් ලෙස, විද්‍යාලයේ ආරම්භක කණ්ඩයමේ සාමාජිකයකු මෙන්ම පෙරදිග තූර්යවාදක කණ්ඩායමේ සාමාජිකයෙකු වන මනෝජ් උපසේන මහතා විසින් නොමසුරුව අරමුදල් සපයමින් මළ නොබැඳෙන වානේ කොඩි කණු හතරකින් සමන්විත නව කොඩි එසවීමේ ප්‍රදේශයක් පාසලට පිරිනැමීමට නියමිතය. මෙම ත්‍යාගය ජනාධිපති විද්‍යාලය විසින් තහවුරු කරන ලද විනය සහ අභිමානය පිළිබඳ චිරස්ථිතික උරුමය සංකේතවත් කරයි.

තවත් සන්ධිස්ථානයක් සපුරමින්, AEBC විසින් "Voice Presidents' - සංගීත ප්‍රසංගය 2024" මගින් රැස් කළ අරමුදල් සමඟ සෞන්දර්යය, ක්‍රීඩා සහ ශාස්ත්‍රීය යන ක්ෂේත්‍රවල කැපී පෙනෙන සිසුන් සඳහා ශිෂ්‍යත්ව තුනක් ප්‍රදානය කරන බව ප්‍රකාශ කිරීම සතුටට කරුණකි. මීට අමතරව, වත්මන් ශිෂ්‍ය භටයින් ද සැමරුම් උත්සවයේදී විධිමත් ලෙස පිළිගැනීමට නියමිතය.

මෙම ඓතිහාසික අවස්ථාවට සහභාගි වන ලෙස AEBC-PCK හි සියලුම සාමාජිකයින්ට ආරාධනය කරන අතර ජනාධිපති විද්‍යාලයීය ශිෂ්‍යභටයින්ගේ ජයග්‍රහණ සහ එකමුතුබව සැමරීම සඳහා අත්වැල් බැඳ ගනිමු.

මෙම අවස්ථාව යථාර්ථයක් බවට පත් කිරීම සඳහා ජනාධිපති විද්‍යාලයේ විදුහල්පතිනි භාග්‍යා රූපසිංහ මහත්මිය දැක්වූ නොමඳ සහයෝගය සහ අනුමැතිය පිළිබඳව AEBC අපි හෘදයාංගම කෘතඥතාව පළ කරමු.
