Avurudu Spirit in Full Flight – With IAAC 🌞✈️
IAAC, Asia’s leading international airline training provider for cabin crew, cargo, airline ticketing, ground handling, and other airport-related training programs, proudly celebrated Avurudu 2025 at the scenic Diyasaru Park. The event brought together over 600 students and high-profile aviation professionals, making it a truly vibrant and memorable celebration.

The presence of Mr. Sunil Jayarathna, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka, and Mr. Peter Hill, former CEO of Sri Lankan Airlines and Oman Air—both highly respected figures in the global aviation industry—added immense prestige to the occasion.

The celebration was further elevated by the presence of distinguished guests, including Mr.Sudesh Rupasunghe (Head of Kuwait Airways Sri Lanka & Maldives and Vice chairman of the board of Airline Representatives), Ms. Lakshika Vithanage (Station Manager at IndiGo), Ms. Lakmali Ranasinghe of Saudi Arabian Airlines, Mr. Sanjika Perera (Country Manager of Sabre Sri Lanka), Mr. Dev Samarajeewa (Founder and CEO of Aviation Voice Sri Lanka), along with several other esteemed airline industry experts.
The event was also graced by IAAC’s distinguished panel of lecturers. With traditional games, cultural performances, and a spirit of unity, IAAC Avurudu 2025 truly took flight, showcasing a vibrant
blend of Sri Lankan heritage and world-class aviation training.
