• The Corona Virus Pandemic or COVID-19 has changed our life 😷, and it seems like we can never be the same again. But even though it has been more than a year since the new normal was introduced, some are still wondering: why are we really doing this? Let’s find out.

• Biosafety ☣️ aims at protecting public health and environment from accidental exposure to biological agents.

• Biosecurity 🥽 deals with the prevention of misuse through loss, theft, diversion or intentional release of pathogens, toxins and any other biological materials.

What You Can Do Is...

Wearing of Masks 😷

• Masks 😷 and face coverings can prevent the wearer from transmitting the COVID-19 virus to others and may provide some protection to the wearer. Multiple studies have shown that face coverings can contain droplets expelled from the wearer, which are responsible for the majority of transmission of the virus.

Keep Social Distancing 🤚

• The practice of social distancing means staying home and staying at least 6 feet away from others 🚷 as much as possible to help prevent spread of COVID-19. The practice of social distancing encourages the use of things such as online video and phone communication instead of in-person contact.

Following Proper Hygiening Methods 🤒

• To stop the spread of COVID-19, along with other COVID appropriate behaviours, the practice of handwashing at regular intervals is a must, after coughing🤧 or sneezing, when caring for the sick 🤒, after using the toilet, before eating, while preparing food and after handling animals or animal waste. Handwashing after touching common surfaces such as doorknobs or handles, or after one comes back home from visiting a public place will keep ourselves and others around us safe.

The Best Way Is To Get Your Vaccine ASAP 💉

• Get vaccinated regardless of whether you already had COVID-19. Evidence is emerging that people get better protection by being fully vaccinated compared with having had COVID-19 🔬 One study showed that unvaccinated people who already had COVID-19 are more than 2 times as likely than fully vaccinated people to get COVID-19 again 🛌

0.1. To create interactive 3D models of equipment that future space explorers might use for activities like exploring a planetary surface.

0.2 To create origami inspired by NASA's James Webb Space Telescope to prove the "Art Meets Science" of it.

0.3 To create a deployable crop production system capable of supporting the nutritional requirements of a crew of 4 to 6 on a transit mission to Mars and back to Earth.
