Surah An-Naba (Arabic: سورة النبأ) is the 78th chapter of the Qur’an and is classified as a Meccan Surah. The title of the Surah in English means “The Announcement” or “The Tidings”. It is composed of 40 ayat (verses).
Notable Quote:
“On the Day the ˹holy˺ spirit (i.e. the angel Gabriel) and the angels will stand in ranks. None will talk, except those granted permission by the Most Compassionate and whose words are true.” [Quran 78:38]

▶ අල්ලාහ්ගේ රසූල් (සල්ලල්ලාහු අලෙයිහි ව සල්ලම්) තුමාණෝ මෙසේ පවසනු තමා සවන් දුන් බව අබු හුරෙයිරා (රලි) දන්වයි.
“මම ඔබට කුමක් තහනම් කරන්නේ ද ඒවායින් වැළකී සිටින්න. මම කුමක් කළ යුතු දැයි ඔබට අණ කරන්නේ ද, ඒවා ඔබලාගේ හැකියාවේ සීමාවට එකඟව ඉටු කරන්න. සැබැවින්ම ඔබට පෙර ජීවත් වූ සමාජය සීමාව ඉක්මවා දහම පිළිබදව ප්රශ්න කිරීමෙන් සහ ඔවුන්ගේ නබි වරැන් සමඟ මත භේද ඇති කිරීමෙන් විනාශ කරනු ලැබුවෝය."'
උපුටා ගැනීම: බුහාරි සහ මුස්ලිම්.
▶ සටහන: මෙම හදීස් වදන පෙන්වන ඉස්ලාමිය ප්රතිපත්තියේ අළංකාරය අවබෝධ කර ගැනීමෙන් ආගම නිසියාකාරව අනුගමනය කරන්නට පහසු වනු ඇත. එ සමඟ ආගමේ අන්තයට නොගොස් නබි සල්ලල්ලාහු අලෙයිහි ව සල්ලම් තුමාණෝ පෙන්වු මාර්ගයෙන් බැහැරව ගමන් කිරීමෙන් වැළකී සිටිය හැක.
▶ නබි වදන්: මෙය මුහම්මද් (සල්ලල්ලාහු අලෙයිහි වසල්ලම්) තුමාණන්ගේ වැදගත් කියමන් (වදන්) කිහිපයක් ඔබට තේරුම් කර ගැනීමේ අරමුණ උදෙසා ගෙන එන සුවිශේෂී වීඩියෝ මාලාවක්ය.

▶අල්ලාහ්ගේ රසූල් (සල්) තුමාණෝ මේ අයුරින් පැවසූ බව අබිදුල්ලාහ් බින් උමර් මෙසේ වාර්තා කරයි.
“ඉස්ලාමය කුලුනු පහක් මත ගොඩ නගා තිබේ. නැමදුමට සුදුසු අල්ලාහ් හැර අන් කිසිවෙක් නැති බවට සහ මුහම්මද් (සල්) තුමාණෝ අල්ලාහ්ගේ සංදේශකවරයෙක් බවට සාක්ෂි දැරීම, (සලාහ්) නැමදුම් කිරීම, ස[z]කාත් ගෙවීම, මක්කාවට ගොස් හජී (චන්දනාව) ඉටු කිරීම සහ රමලාන් මස උපවාසයේ යෙදීම.“
චාරිතා කළේ බුහාරි සහ මුස්ලිම්
▶ සටහන: ඉස්ලාමයේ කුලුනු සියල්ලට නීති ඊති සහ ක්රමයක් ඇත. එනිසා නීති රති ගැන අවබෝධය ලැබීම ඉතා වැදගත් එකකි. එනිසා යම් ආගමික වතාවත් ඉටු කිරීමට පෙර තමා ෂර්ආවට චකඟව ඒවා සිදු කරන්නේ දැයි කල්පනා කර අවබෝධ කර ගත යුතුයි.
▶ නබි වදන්: මෙය මුහම්මද් (සල්ලල්ලාහු අලෙයිහි වසල්ලම්) තුමාණන්ගේ වැදගත් කියමන් (වදන්) කිහිපයක් ඔබට තේරුම් කර ගැනීමේ අරමුණ උදෙසා ගෙන එන සුවිශේෂී වීඩියෝ මාලාවක්ය.

Surah Ghashiyah (Arabic: الغاشية) is the 88th Surah of the Qur’an. It is a Meccan Surah meaning it’s revelation was before Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and his followers migrated to Medinah. The English meaning is “The Overwhelming” or “The Pall” it composed of 26 ayat (verses).
It was narrated that Ubaidullah bin Abdullah said: “Dahhak bin Qais wrote to Nu’man bin Bashir, saying: ‘Tell us what the Messenger of Allah (saws) used to recite on Friday along with Surah Al-Jumu’ah.’ He said: ‘He used to recite: “Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e., the Day of Resurrection)?’” Sahih (Darussalam) Hadith Sunan Ibn Majah Vol. 1, Book 5, Hadith 1119
The main theme or subject of this Surah can be divided into 3 topics. The first being resurrection and contrasting between the good and evil. Allah describes in details what it would like to be in Jahanam and compares this to those who would be in heaven. The second theme, is about Allah’s oneness with reference to his beautiful creations of the sky, earth and mountains. The last subject is prophecy and the duties the prophets, Allah mentions that he is not a controller but a reminder for non-believers.
