Strengthening Industry Partnerships for Graduate Success!
The Career Guidance Unit (CGU), University of Colombo, was delighted to meet with the President and Deputy President of the MBA Alumni Association (University of Colombo) to discuss opportunities for strengthening collaboration and creating impactful career development initiatives for students and graduates.
The meeting was led by Prof. Tissa Ravinda Perera, Director of the Career Guidance Unit, together with Ms. Udari Withanage, Career Counselor.
The discussion focused on establishing strategic partnerships to enhance graduate employability through alumni engagement, mentorship programmes, industry networking, career development workshops, leadership training, professional skills development, internship opportunities, and industry exposure. These collaborative initiatives aim to bridge the gap between academia and industry while equipping graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional mindset required to thrive in today's competitive job market.
