📚🎉 We had double the reason to celebrate at Al Ameen Vidyalaya on September 6th, 2023! Alongside the grand opening of our Computer Lab, we hosted a spectacular "English in Fusion" event at the historic Christ Church Hall, generously provided by the Church. Our heartfelt thanks go to Reverend Christie Joseph and Reverend Brian Fernando, who also offered their invaluable multimedia support. 🏰✨

📖 "English in Fusion" was a delightful celebration of language, literature, and culture, showcasing the incredible talents of our students at Al Ameen Vidyalaya. From captivating speeches to mesmerizing poetry recitations, our students left the audience in awe with their language prowess.

🎭 The day was filled with drama and creativity as our budding actors performed captivating plays that transported us to different worlds and eras. 🌟

🎶 But that's not all! Our talented students also graced us with mesmerizing cultural performances that brought the beauty and diversity of our world to life. The hall reverberated with music, dance, and traditions from across the globe. 🌍💃

👏 We were honored to have esteemed guests, including principals from Colombo Zone, past pupils, parents, and other well-wishers join us in this joyous celebration.

🌟 Additionally, this day was made even more special as we bid a fond farewell to our Vice Principal, Mrs. Z. Jiffry, who is retiring from teaching this year. We honored her dedicated service to education and presented her with tokens of appreciation for her invaluable contributions.

🖌️ Artistic expressions were on full display with beautiful exhibitions, and the creativity flowed in every corner of the hall.

We are immensely proud of our students for their dedication and talent, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers, parents, and staff who made "English in Fusion" a resounding success. 🙏

Master A.A. Sahlan proudly clinched the Bronze medal at the School Boys' Boxing Championship for the coveted Dian Gomes Challenge Trophy 2023. The thrilling tournament took place in 2023, showcasing Sahlan's incredible determination and skill.

As the applause roared and the cheers echoed, Sahlan was warmly embraced by the entire student body, creating a vibrant atmosphere of celebration. The vibrant sounds of the school band further enlivened the scene, making his welcome an unforgettable moment of triumph and camaraderie.
