NOTICE REGARDING SGM SCHEDULED FOR THE 29 MARCH 2026*

We regret, at a time when we are doing everything possible to bring in harmony among the ICOBA membership, we are informed that some person has gone and obtained an injunction from the District Court, due to which and to the subsequent evaluation of the concerning issue with the Principal there appears to be a legal constraint to having the SGM as originally planned on the 29th March 2026.

The SGM will therefore be rescheduled after resolving any legal constraints. The membership will be kept informed in this regard.

We further regret the inconvenience caused to the membership.

At the helm of Isipathana College Rugby 1st XV – 2026 stands Shaakib Zumri, a 4th year coloursman whose experience, composure, and unwavering commitment embody true leadership. Having represented Sri Lanka U18 Junior National 7s and anchored the 3rd row with authority, he steps into the role of Captain with confidence and clear purpose.

Supporting him are two proven match-winners as Vice Captains:

Abdul Azees – A 4th year coloursman, etched into history for his impactful running ability and match winning scoring contributions.

Nimantha Sandeepa – Sri Lanka U18 Junior National Player, 3rd year coloursman, and a blistering speedster who electrifies the field.

Together, they lead the Green Machine into a new season defined by passion, purpose, and performance.

History has repeated itself after 3 years — for the first time since 2022, both Sinhala & English Debate Teams have triumphed together! 💚

Isipathana College’s English Debate Team has been crowned Champions at the Leelananda Memorial Debate 2025. Their words, passion, and teamwork truly conquered the stage.

Adding to this glory, our Sinhala Debate Team also secured victory at the Championship, making this a remarkable double triumph after three years.
