"On with the show" featuring the Soul Sounds Academy Vocal Dept, directed by Soundarie David Rodrigo will be held on June 2 at the Bishop's College Auditorium.
- To raise funds :
* for the renovation and expansion of the GFS Hostel opened in 1957 to provide safe, subsidized accommodation to girls from the outstations who come to the city for employment
* to support our 18 GFS branches in the outstations with their programmes & projects mainly with girls & women.

All proceeds towards the work of the GFS - to refurbish the 65 year old Hostel & offer better facilities for girls of all religions & races who come to Colombo from the outstations for employment, to carry out community projects & other educational & cultural programmes at our headquarters in Colombo & in the 18 outstation GFS branches, to lovingly look after this our beautiful GFS Hall (now 99 years + 9 months young!), to continue to provide the Colombo housewife with fresh veggies direct from the hill country ... lots more ...
