UGC Sri Lanka recognizes the foreign universities that are listed in Commonwealth handbook or International Handbook of Universities. Accordingly, Kanpur University if a University recognized by UGC Sri Lanka.
At a recent meeting between AUGP and UGC, UGC having seen the approvals granted to AUGP by Kanpur University, issued the following letter to emphasize the fact that Kanpur is a recognized University. It was directly issued at the request of Chairman, AUGP after our discussions.

We are an institution legally incorporated in Sri Lanka for the purpose of promoting educational activities etc. Accordingly we have full legal rights to conduct academic activities.

*KANPUR DEGREES*
CJSM Kanpur University is a popular University in India which is recognized by UGC Sri Lanka and AUGP is a fully approved and authorized centre in Si Lanka. to promote BSc in Cosmetology and other disciplines.
