Major Highlights:

-Selenium has at least 2.4M active users in the last 30 days. 100k more than last month. ( https://plausible.io/manager.selenium.dev )
-India and United States are the top countries with the most users.
-Python is the most used language from the last 5 releases.
-The most used operating system is Windows, with at least 1.9M users.
-Extensibility points started to be implemented to simplify the integration between Selenium and Appium. Ruby is the first language to implement it.
-Java and JavaScript keep adding more WebDriver BiDi features.
-In Java, it is possible to set parameters for Selenium Manager via system properties.
-Set test name to video file name in dynamic grid.

What is Regression Testing?

Regression testing is a type of software testing that focuses on making sure recent changes, like bug fixes or updates, don't cause problems with the existing functionality of a program. The main goals are to uncover any unexpected issues caused by recent updates and confirm that features that were working before still work correctly after changes are made.

This testing is usually done by the quality assurance (QA) team. They work with developers to ensure that the entire program functions properly after each code change.

Regression testing can be done manually or automatically, depending on the project's needs, budget, and timeline. The process involves selecting relevant test cases, running them, and comparing the results to the expected outcomes.

Manual Regression Testing:

Create a comprehensive test suite.
Execute test cases systematically.
Document and report any issues found.
Re-run tests after code changes.
Automated Regression Testing:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
Use testing tools to run scripts.
Monitor test results and investigate failures.
Integrate with continuous integration tools for regular ex*****on.
