About the Role

Meu Labs is a STEM education startup designing hands-on, project-based learning experiences for school-age students across the globe. We are looking for STEM Instructors who enjoy teaching, mentoring, and simplifying complex ideas for young learners.
Engineers and technical students are encouraged to apply, provided they are motivated by education and student impact.

Who This Role Is For

Enjoy explaining technical concepts to beginners

Want to use your technical background in a teaching environment

Eligibility

1st–2nd year undergraduates
Engineering, Science, Technology, CS / SE, or Math graduates
University Freshers or after A/L students are encouraged to apply

Paid position | Colombo-based | Salary negotiable

Key Responsibilities

Teach and facilitate STEM lessons using project-based and activity-driven methods
Guide students through hands-on projects in areas such as science, technology, programming, robotics, and engineering fundamentals
Support the development of STEAM learning materials and lesson plans
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Work closely with the education team to continuously improve learning experiences

Required Skills & Mindset

Strong interest in STEM education
Clear enthusiasm for teaching and working with children / teenagers
Ability to explain technical ideas in simple, age-appropriate ways
Good communication and classroom presence
Responsible, patient, and open to feedback

Preferred (Not Required)

Studying or completed a degree in Engineering, Science, Math, Technology, or Education
Interest in robotics, coding, electronics, or maker-style learning
Prior tutoring, mentoring, teaching, or volunteering experience

• Handle student and parent inquiries
• Guide students about Meu Labs programs and courses
• Support registrations and follow-ups
• Coordinate with the marketing and student support team
• Build positive relationships with students and parents
