Bomiriya Central College official Knowledge, Began, Discipline This is a prestigious central college in Sri Lanka which conducts classes from grade 6 to grade 13.

All the classes are conducted in both Sinhala and English medium and each grade has 9-10 parallel classes. During the past five years results of G.C.E. O/L in the school was increased by 20%. There are 40-50 students from all 3 sections enter to the university each year. About 62% of A/L students are qualified to enter to the university yearly. The academic staff is about 140. nts to grade 6, take on students form 2 schools and the rest of the vacancies for grade 6 are filled with scholars by the Ministry of Education. This school could secure the first place in the Sri Jayawardanapura
Education Zone in A/L and O/L Examinations in past few years. There is a big demand for grade 6 in this school and this is a leading central college with more than 3000 students. This is the prevalent Buddhist Academy in the area which sustained the students with Buddhist concepts in a Buddhist environment.
