උදේම යාලුවොත් එක්ක ට්‍රිප් එක යන්න
ආසාවෙන් ලෑස්ති වෙන්න ඇති..
බස් එක අද්දනකොට ඒ සතුට වැඩිකමට
අම්මට බායි කියලා පිටත් වෙන්නැති..
ඒ ගිහින් ගොඩක් දේවල් බලන්නත් ඇති..
ඇවිත් අම්මට කියන්න විස්තර
එකතු කරගන්නත් ඇති..

ඒත්....,

ගෙදර එන්න පිටත් උන ගමන
අම්මලාගෙ ලඟටම තරම්
දුරක් එන්න බස් එකේ ටයර් එක
හරස් වෙන්න ඇති...

ඒ ටයර් එක පුපුරලා ඒ මැද්දෙන්
මහා ගින්දර ගොඩක් එද්දි..
ඒ බබාලාට අම්මා තාත්තව මතක් වෙන්නැති
අම්මේ කියල අඬන්න ඇති..
පිච්චෙනකොට රිදෙන්නත් ඇති..
වෙනදට පොඩ්ඩක් වැටුනත්
ලඟට දුවන් එන අම්මා
ඒ වෙලාවේ එයාගෙ බබා
මහා ගින්දරක් මැදට හිර වෙලා කියලා
දන්නෙවත් නැතුව ඇති..

අම්මා ආවානම් කියලත් හිතෙන්න ඇති..
කවුරුම හරි බේරගනී කියල
බලන් ඉන්නත් ඇති..
සමහර විට බස් එකෙන් එලියට යන්නත්
දඟලන්න ඇති..

අහලින් පහලින් ගිය වාහනයක්වත්
නතර කරන්නැතුව ඉක්මනින්
එතන පාස් කරන් යද්දි
බේරගන්න කෙනෙක් නෑ කියලා
හිතෙන්න ඇති..

ඒ නිසා මුලු බස් එකත් පිටින්
ඒ අයගේ ටීචර්ස්ලත් එක්ක
බැරිම තැන සුරංගනා ලෝකෙට
යන්න ඇති..

ඒක ලංකාව නම් ඒ ලමයි
ඇතුලු සියලුම දෙනා බේරනවා සත්තයි..
