🏏⚽ The Past Pupils of Methodist Central College, Batticaloa extend our sincere gratitude to MCC OBA UK for their generous sponsorship in support of youth cricket and football development through Centralite Sports Academy.

With a valuable contribution of LKR 468,000, the coaching programme for the Under-13 Cricket & Football teams will receive full support, helping provide structured training, guidance, and development opportunities for our young sportsmen.

This meaningful initiative reflects MCC OBA UK’s continued commitment towards nurturing talent, promoting sporting excellence, and shaping the next generation through discipline, teamwork, leadership, and confidence.

We also appreciate the dedication of Centralite Sports Academy in empowering young athletes and creating opportunities for them to grow both on and off the field.

We are proud to share that the Biology Students’ Project Hostel was officially opened on 16th July 2025, made possible through the generous support and sponsorship of Canada OBA. This valuable project provides a dedicated space for our students to study, research, and grow together in a supportive environment.

This hostel marks an important milestone in strengthening educational opportunities for our Biology students. As examinations approach, we wish all our hardworking students every success. May this new space inspire focus, discipline, and academic excellence.
