Don't stress about which tools to learn first.
Choose 2-3 and become an expert.
Skills are transferable.

If you can create an amazing dashboard in Power BI, you can make one just as impressive in Tableau.

If you can run efficient code in MySQL, it's going to be nearly identical in PostgreSQL.

If you can manipulate fields in Excel, you can do the same thing in Google Sheets.

Learning SQL? Not sure where to start?

Day 1 - Focus on the BIG 6:

1. SELECT
2. FROM
3. WHERE
4. GROUP BY
5. HAVING
6. ORDER BY

SELECT - list the column(s) you want to retrieve

FROM - name the table to pull the data from

WHERE - apply filtering logic to limit records in your results

GROUP BY - create segments/groups to summarize data

HAVING - apply filtering logic to your segments/groups

ORDER BY - describe how you want your data sorted

It's a pretty intuitive language.

You basically type what you're thinking.

Anyone can learn. And it unlocks a world of possibilities.

You don't have to be a computer science person.

Start with these, then learn about aggregate functions :)
