Students of UIS Balangoda celebrated Teachers' Day in the school’s main hall with great enthusiasm. Both teachers and students participated actively in the event. Teachers were honoured with thoughtful gifts, including a customised jewellery box and an umbrella bearing the school’s name. A delicious lunch and dessert were also served.
The programme featured various performances by students and teachers, making the event lively and memorable. Everyone enjoyed the celebration thoroughly.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the parents for their valuable support in helping students organise such a grand and meaningful event.

On the invitation of the High Priest and the Organising Committee of Balangoda Thumbagoda Sangikaramaya, our school had the privilege of hosting the Vegetable Soup Dansal on Sunday, 25th June 2025, during the 101st Mihindu Maha Perahera procession.

We are deeply grateful to our dear parents, students, and staff who came forward with dedication and unity, making this event a great success.

We especially appreciate the tireless effort of our teachers and students who worked till dawn on the 16th and still reported to school on Monday, 16th. Your commitment is truly admirable.

UIS GLEAM FEST 2025 – Mini Carnival concluded with overwhelmingly positive feedback and was a highly successful event.

A remarkable crowd attended the carnival, and all stallholders were able to achieve a satisfying turnover while gaining many new contacts.

This success was made possible by the collective effort of our UIS staff, alumni, parents, student leaders, prefects, students, and well-wishers.

We sincerely thank all stakeholders for being present at the venue on 31st May 2025 until 10 p.m.
