The Faculty of Technology, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka proudly inaugurated the 3rd Undergraduate Research Symposium of Technology (URSTech 2026) on 23rd April 2026 at the faculty premises in Belihuloya.

URSTech 2026 brings together undergraduate researchers, academics, and innovators to share knowledge, present novel research findings, and foster a culture of scientific and technological advancement. 🚀🔬

The Faculty of Technology, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, joyfully celebrated its annual Sinhala & Tamil New Year Tea Table Event, bringing together our academic and non-academic staff in the true spirit of unity, gratitude, and new beginnings.

This year’s celebration became even more special and memorable as we were honored to have three distinguished Japanese researchers joining hands with the Faculty family to share blessings for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. Their presence added a beautiful touch of international friendship, cultural exchange, and mutual respect to this cherished Faculty tradition.

Amidst traditional sweets, warm conversations, and cheerful smiles, the event reflected not only the festive spirit of the New Year but also the growing global collaborations and strong bonds that the Faculty of Technology continues to build beyond borders.
