The 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐯𝐚 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐈𝐑𝐂𝐔𝐖𝐔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓) was successfully held on 11th and 12th February 2025, marking another important milestone in the research journey of Uva Wellassa University. The conference was conducted under the theme:

“𝘚𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘚𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴: 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥.”

We were honored by the presence of our 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭, 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐊𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐚 𝐁. 𝐖𝐢𝐣𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐚, Vice-Chancellor of Uva Wellassa University. The conference was further enriched by inspiring keynote addresses delivered by 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐚𝐣𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐇. 𝐖. 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐤𝐞 (University of Kelaniya) and 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥 𝐀. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐧 (University of Kansas, USA), whose insights added immense academic value to the event.

With the participation of 369 presenters, IRCUWU 2025 served as a dynamic platform for sharing innovative research, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and strengthening our research culture. The best presenters were selected through a structured and transparent evaluation process, based on scientific merit, originality, methodological rigor, societal relevance, and the overall quality of presentation, ensuring fairness and high academic standards.
We gratefully acknowledge all presenters, reviewers, session chairs, organizing committee members, and participants whose commitment and enthusiasm made IRCUWU 2025 a resounding success.
