Audio-Visual Unit
The Department of Agricultural Systems (DAS) is one of the four academic units within the Faculty of Agriculture at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka (RUSL). The Department is highly dedicated and committed to realize the vision of the faculty that is to be a dynamic, innovative and renowned centre for excellence in Agriculture. The department has a growing Audio-visual unit (AVU) which is very important for department activities as well as the faculty. The unit maintains a collection of educational audio-visual materials which are academically supportive.
Students can use the AVU to develop video films to educate farmers on good agricultural practices (GAPs). Production of brochures, flyers, leaflets and booklets related to agriculture will enhance the scientific communication skills of students.
