The 2nd undergraduate research symposium of Faculty of Medicine and Allied Sciences, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka was held on the 19th of July 2019 at the faculty premises. 32 teams presented their poster presentations at the symposium and a selected review committee evaluated the presentations. Several researches have been already taken part in international research symposiums and 16 teams will be presenting their oral and poster presentations at the SLMA sessions 2019.

The organizing committee highly appreciates the support extended to the event by the members of the academic staff, well-wishers, students and the non -academic staff members in making this year's symposium a success.

2nd UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM – 2019

The department of Community Medicine coordinates the “Research in Medicine” module of the medical undergraduate curriculum and all research conducted by groups of 2014/2015 medical undergraduates, under the supervision of the faculty academic staff members, will be presented at the 2nd URSFMAS 2019. Board of professional judges will appreciate research information and winners will be awarded. This program sways analytical and research abilities as well as scientific attitude among doctors emerged from Rajarata University of Sri Lanka turning over a new leaf in medical field and amending international recognition of Sri Lankan Health sector.
