Arattana Raja Maha Vihara. ක්‍රි.ව 1613 සෙනරත් රජතුමා මෙම විහාරස්ථානයට පැමිණි බවත් පෙර රජ දවස මෙම විහාරස්ථානයට පූජා කර තිබූ පිම්බත් නම් කුඹුර මෙම රජතුමා විසින් නැවතත් සන්නසකින් නිරවුල් කර විහාරස්ථානයට පූජා කළ බව සටහන් සන්නසක් මෙම විහාරස්ථානය සතුය. තවද ක්‍රි.ව 1765 කීර්ති ශ්‍රී රාජසිංහ රජතුමා විසින් ලන්දේසීන් මහනුවර රාජධානිය ආක්‍රමණය කිරීමේදී දළදා වහන්සේ රැගෙන විත් මෙම විහාරස්ථානයේදී වතාවත් කළ බව සඳහන්වේ. ශ්‍රී වික්‍රම රාජසිංහ රාජ සමයේද ඉංග්‍රීසින් මහනුවර රාජධානිය ආක්‍රමණයේදී ද දළදා වහන්සේ රැගෙන විත් මෙම විහාරස්ථානයේ තැන්පත් කරන්න ආරක්ෂා කර ගත් බව මන්දාරම්පුර පුවතෙහි සඳහන්.
