Our students embarked on an insightful field visit to Heeloya Tourism Village, exploring the beauty of rural life, community-based tourism, and sustainable travel practices. 🌾✨

It was a memorable experience filled with learning, hiking, exploration, and capturing wonderful moments that enriched both knowledge and friendship. 💚📸

The Department of Travel and Tour Management, University College of Anuradhapura, proudly participated in the North Central Province Tourism Exhibition held on the 27th of September 2025. Our presentation focused on promoting Wellness Tourism, Wildlife Photography, Adventure Tourism, the Cultural Triangle, and Itinerary Preparation — highlighting Sri Lanka’s diverse tourism potential and our commitment to sustainable and innovative travel education.

🌍 In August alone, 198,235 international tourists visited Sri Lanka — with Indian travelers leading the way as the highest number of arrivals!

🚆 So far this year, a total of 1,566,523 tourists have explored our beautiful island. That’s a 20.4% increase compared to the same period last year!

🌴 From waterfalls to train rides through lush greenery, Sri Lanka continues to capture the hearts of travelers around the world.
