The ceremonial lighting of the oil lamp marked a meaningful and auspicious beginning to the Annual Concert & Mini Graduation of Sussex College Ampara, symbolising wisdom, unity, and the bright journey ahead for our young learners.

These special moments beautifully reflected the grace, tradition, and pride that surrounded the ceremony held on 23rd January 2026 at the Hardy Auditorium. From heartfelt gestures to dignified proceedings, each moment captured the significance of this memorable occasion.

Album 1 | Welcoming Ceremony

With hearts full of pride and a hall filled with hope, Sussex College Ampara warmly welcomed an evening where dreams took center stage, the Annual Concert & Mini Graduation, held on 23rd January 2026 at the Hardy Auditorium.

The ceremony was elevated by the inspiring presence of our Chief Guest, Major General W M N K D Bandara, General Officer Commanding – 24 Division, Sri Lanka Army and adding heartfelt meaning to this special beginning was our Guest of Honour, Mr. K A Sunil Jayatissa, Founder Chairman & CEO of the Sussex College Network, whose vision continues to shape thousands of young futures across the island.

We were also honoured by the presence of Mrs. Nadeeka Ilayperuma, Head of Education Management, Monitoring & Support Division, along with other esteemed guests who stood as witnesses to this proud milestone.

A healthy body leads to a healthy mind. Today we learned the importance of caring for ourselves and building strong habits for a brighter future!✨
