​Under the Entrepreneurship Promotion and Development Programme, coordination for individual technical training and financial assistance was successfully provided on 2026.03.16,17 at IDB ampara
​Notably, specialized training in Vegetable and Fruit Dehydration and Bottling was awarded to two selected entrepreneurs.

# # Divisonal Trade Fair
The **Small Enterprise Development Division (SED)** of the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development held a regional sales exhibition on **April 10, 2026**, at the Divisional Secretariat premises.
The event took place under the chairmanship of Divisional Secretary **Mr. R. Thiraviyaraj**, with the guidance and direction of the Assistant Director of the Small Enterprise Development Division, **Mr.B. L.H. Baranige**, in celebration of the Tamil and Sinhalese New Year.
# # # Key Highlights
* **Primary Objective:** To encourage and promote marketing opportunities for both local and outstation small entrepreneurs and producers within the region.
* **Participants:** The event saw the attendance of accountants, administrative officers, Samurdhi managers, various government officials, and the general public.

டித்வா புயலால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட தொழில்கள் குறித்த தரவுகளைச் சேகரிக்க தொழில்துறை அமைச்சு ஒரு பொறிமுறையைத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது. பாதிக்கப்பட்ட தொழிலதிபர்கள் இந்தத் தரவு அமைப்பிற்கு விரைவாக தகவல்களை வழங்குமாறு அமைச்சு கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறது. மேலும் இந்தத் தரவு அமைப்பிற்கு தேவையான தகவல்களைச் சேகரிப்பது டிசம்பர் 16, 2025 அன்று பிற்பகல் 2 மணிக்குள் நிறைவுபெறும்.
