Tuesday is baking day at Kids Campus!!!! Get out the measuring cups and spoons, mixing bowls, and baking pans.

Not only is baking a wonderful sensory experience for children (smells, textures, tastes), it is also a rich opportunity to engage your child in authentic work while they learn about amounts and quantities.

Filling your kitchen and home with the delicious scent of baking is also good for the soul!

Ideally, your children will participate in the daily life of your family while they enjoy baking and cooking along with little bit of mess here and there which helps their growth for a lifetime. 🍲🥪🌭🍕🌯🫔🍝🍜🎂🍪🥄🍴🍽🥢

Pottery, for kids... is one of the most creative activities you can let your child experience.

Kids are born naturally creative, and inquisitive.
They are born filled to the brim with energy, and the need to express themselves. And as they grow, this need to express themselves only gets stronger.

If you let them express themselves through the arts, they will be happier, more expressive, and generally better mentally.

We all know how much kids love to draw pictures for their parents, friends and relatives – how proud they are when they give away their drawings and paintings. (even if you can’t tell what it’s meant to be, or it’s coloured in over the lines.)
But that’s what’s so great about pottery – in that there is no template to stick to. There is no right or wrong, there is only self-expression & if you let your kids do pottery, then they can create literally anything.

Even if you don’t fire and glaze your kid’s pottery, it’s still good fun to just get out a bag of clay and let them experience getting their hands dirty. You may not be left with anything physical, but often you’ll find that kids are left with a whole range of health and metal benefits, including better hand eye coordination, stronger motor skills, stronger problem solving skills, to name just a few.

We always want to give the best for our kids and as you know there won't be a child who wouldn't want to go on a trip? Specially with their friends.... ? So we wanted to make it extra special by taking them on a double decker bus around the city of Kandy which got them even more excited and they enjoyed every bit of it. Kids Campus children loved the Double Decker Bus and the ride up top gave them the views to make them feel ‘big’ and see further than ever before. 😃😃

Independence Day - Our National Festival was celebrated with passion and pride. The little ones looked adorable dressed in colorful clothes.

They’re pretty, they’re colorful, and they flutter and float in the air….what could they be? Well, they are kites, of course, Which every kid loves !! 🪁🪁🪁🪁🪁🪁

Who could imagine a better way to spend time than with a variety of other people, every person with his or her own beautifully decorated kite? For those people who are avid fans of such happy and vibrant kites.

So we celebrated kite day at Kids campus by making their own colorful kite and let them run along with it.

Fact : International kite day is held on January 14th every year. The day celebrates the end of winter and the summer begins. It also marks the arrival of the harvest season.

In this world.. There is no picture so beautiful as smiling, bright eyed, happy children.. Nor music so sweet as their clear ringing laughter.
