Board, staff, and students of AIMS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL were honored to welcome Her Excellency Isabelle Martin, High Commissioner for Canada to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, for a special visit on May 2, 2026.

During her visit, our Director of Studies, Mr. Thasreef Mohamed Aniffa (TMA), along with school management representatives including Mr. Salim Aboobacker, Mr. Najeem, and others, presented an overview of the school and its academic environment.

Her Excellency emphasized the importance of education and knowledge in shaping today’s generation, inspiring both students and staff with her insights.

Such high-level visits significantly enrich the cultural and intellectual environment of our institution, fostering a deeper understanding of global relations and diplomatic engagement.

Her Excellency also attended as the Chief Guest at a “Women Empowerment Programme among Female Advocates,” organized by Advocate Mr. Raza Mahroof, held at Milano Reception Hall.

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students at the Annual National Championship and Graduation Ceremony of ICAM Abacus, held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium on April 3, 2026.

More than 16 students from Aims International School were honored at this prestigious event, receiving trophies, certificates, and medals in recognition of their dedication and exceptional skills.

The Akkaraipattu Municipal Council celebrated Sri Lanka’s 78th Independence Day at the Water Park, Akkaraipattu, on 4th February 2026. The event was organized by the Municipal Council of Akkaraipattu.

AIMS International School participated in the National Day march-past parade held on 4th February 2026 at the Water Park, Akkaraipattu.

At present, no other school in our region offers a structured programme focused on developing students’ public speaking and presentation skills.

𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗦 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 continues to successfully run 𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦, a specialised programme designed to help students build confidence, communicate effectively, and present with clarity.

AIMSMASTERS supports learners in becoming articulate speakers and confident presenters, skills essential for academic success and beyond.

𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 – 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐈

𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗦 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 successfully staged the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗜 last week at the school auditorium.

The four-year-old students amazed the audience with their charming role-plays, and dances, making the event truly memorable.

Well done, kids! Your performances were outstanding.

We are truly delighted to share the joyful celebration of a significant milestone in the lives of our youngest learners — the KGII Concert and Graduation Ceremony 2025.

Held on 18th December 2025 at 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗸𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘁𝘂, the event was a heartwarming blend of smiles, creativity, and pride. Our precious KGII little stars took the spotlight as they stepped onto the stage with confidence and joy, showcasing their talents through colourful performances, role plays, songs, and dances that brought joy to every heart in the audience.

“From crayons to confidence—well done, graduate”
The highlight of the day was the emotional and proud graduation ramp walk, where our tiny graduates dressed in their caps and cloaks symbolically stepped into the next exciting chapter of their academic journey to primary education.
