🎉 Celebrating Deepavali: Honoring Tamil Heritage Through Learning
Deepavali (also called " Diwali") is a major festival known as the “Festival of Lights,” celebrated by Hindus, Tamils, Jains, Sikhs, and others across South Asia and the world.
At the OWF Free Education Unit, we recognize Deepavali, a cultural festival celebrated by Tamil communities as a meaningful learning experience for our preschool students.
This is a respect for the diverse cultural traditions of Sri Lanka. Through storytelling, art, and joyful activities, our young learners explore the values of light, unity, and renewal that Deepavali represents.

🎈OWF School Celebrates World Children's Day 🎈
On October 1st, the one world foundation school joyfully celebrated World Children's Day with the full participation of our children and teachers. The entire day was filled with entertaining activities including singing, dancing, and creative performances, making it a truly memorable occasion. Smiles, laughter, and vibrant energy echoed throughout the school as everyone came together to honor the spirit of childhood and unity.

Esala Cultural Festivity – Pre-school Perahera Procession 🪷
In celebration of the Esala cultural festival, the Preschool unit will proudly organize the Perahera (Procession) that honors both cultural and religious traditions.
