Castries Comprehensive Secondary School proudly celebrates our Junior Calypso Finalist ALEX PINEL and Junior Soca finalist AKAYLA LEWIS as they prepare to represent the school with talent, confidence, culture, and pride.

These young performers are working hard, pushing through pressure, and earned their place among the finals. Now, it is time for the entire CCSS family, students, staff, parents, past students, and supporters to stand behind them.

Let us show them the love, the support, and the energy they deserve.

Castries Comprehensive Secondary School

This piece represents justice, equality, fairness, and harmony. The left side of the piece shows the different races, colors, and nationalities that people often use to divide us. The right side shows that these differences do not truly matter; we are all human beings. Every one of us is human.
People often treat the African race, for example, as if they are less than human. They judge them based on their past, such as slavery, or on negative stereotypes that misrepresent them. The nationalities I chose to represent are African, Asian, and Indian, to show that discrimination exists across many different groups.
I also chose to use a woman’s body intentionally. In many cultures and nations, women are treated as if they are less than who they truly are—human beings deserving of respect and equality.
In conclusion, this piece embodies equality, fairness, harmony, and justice by showing that, despite our outward differences, we are all the same within.

CCSS culminated its 52nd Anniversary celebrations today with a heartfelt Ecumenical Service and Awards Ceremony, a fitting close to a memorable season of reflection, thanksgiving, and recognition.

We were honoured to have several past students in attendance, along with former principal Mr. Jeremie Joseph, as we celebrated the legacy and continued excellence of Castries Comprehensive Secondary School.

The day was made even more special as every student received a slice of the anniversary cake, sharing in the joy of this milestone together.

A proud day. A meaningful celebration. A legacy worth honouring.
