Introducing Building Construction Drafting Levels 1, 2 & 3 — where ideas move from concept to blueprint and technical skill becomes the foundation for real-world construction.

Across the three levels, students build progressively stronger skills in technical drawing, construction plans, measurements, design interpretation, drafting standards, and the preparation of detailed building drawings — developing the accuracy, confidence, and industry-ready knowledge needed to turn concepts into clear, buildable plans.

Because before anything great gets built, someone has to draw the vision first. ✏️📏

So while everyone else is drafting their weekend plans, our students are drafting the future. 🔥

Introducing General Construction Level 1 — a hands-on qualification designed to build practical, job-ready skills from the ground up. Students develop competencies in workplace safety, planning and organising work, technical drawings, measurements and calculations, hand and power tools, small plant and equipment, levelling, concreting, material handling, and mixing mortar and concrete.

Because in construction, success doesn’t happen overnight — it’s measured, planned, mixed, levelled and built one skill at a time. 💪🏾📐🛠️

So while everyone else is getting over the midweek hump, our students are busy building over it. 🔥

🎨🏆 Celebrating Artistic Excellence! 🏆🎨

Congratulations to the talented students and on their outstanding achievements at the Saint Lucia Hall of Justice Art Challenge Competition Award Ceremony.

We are proud to announce that our school received a Special Prize for Sculpture, awarded to the creative team of Trina Pillage, Neila Martyr, Merissa Darcie , and Rebecca Felix, under the guidance of their dedicated Art Teacher, Mrs. Michelle Theobalds. Their remarkable work also earned a special mention and placement for installation at the Saint Lucia Hall of Justice Building, a prestigious recognition of their artistic talent and vision.

Congratulations also to our Graphic Arts Finalists from the CVQ Graphic Arts Fifth Form Group:
Jaden Rene, Jamil Alfred, Thani Fortune and Shuni Griffith , who were represented at the ceremony by Leandra Martial. These students were guided by Mr. Che Carter, Head of the Media and Design Department.

We commend all participants for their creativity, hard work, and dedication. Your achievements continue to showcase the incredible talent within our school community and make us all proud.
