🌟 Professional Development: Inspiring Our Educators, Empowering Our Students! 🌟

Professional development is essential to keeping educators equipped, inspired, and responsive to the evolving needs of our students. We are deeply grateful to our guest speaker, Former Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Dr. Pauline Antoine-Prospere, for her insightful presentation on “Engaging and Supporting Demotivated Students in School.” 👏🏽📚

Connecting school to the real world is fundamental to empowering students for success, especially our boys who may sometimes struggle to see the relevance of education. We must continue providing meaningful role models, authentic experiences, and encouragement. 💙

The Saint Lucia Sports Academy is incredibly proud of Shem Ishmael and Leon Vidal, who are representing Saint Lucia 🇱🇨 at the 2026 CFU U14 Challenge Series in the Dominican Republic! 🌎🏆🇱🇨 and captured 4 of the 7 goals for a commanding 7–0 victory over the US Virgin Islands! 🔥👏🏽⚽ What an outstanding performance from our SLSA boys and the SLU team! 💪🏽🇱🇨

A special congratulations to Shem Ishmael, who delivered a phenomenal performance, not only scoring two goals ⚽⚽ but also earning Player of the Match 🏅 honours! 👏🏽🔥🇱🇨

SLSA teachers joined a cohort of over 100 teachers trained in district one this week. 💯

The workshop run by JOIE Innovative Learning Solutions in partnership with FLOW focused on empowering teachers with learner centered teaching strategies, metcognition and Virtual Reality. 💫

Teachers left feeling already empowered for the new academic year!!!!
