The Beauty of the Caribbean
Experience the beauty and natural wonders of the Caribbean while learning about the different cultures that influenced modern St. Explore the ecosystems of the most mountainous of the Caribbean Islands. Learn how to conduct anthropological fieldwork while immersed in the local community. Classes will be held on the Campus of The Pastoral Centre. Students will live in a villa overlooking beautiful Rodney Bay. Program Highlights
- Day excursions to cultural heritage sites
- Visit the French island of Martinique
- Natural Wonders tours to Pigeon Island, the world’s only drive in volcano, mineral hot springs, rain forests, botanical gardens and plantations
- Heritage talks


Earn 6 credits
ANT 101 – cultural Anthropology
ANT 211 – Caribbean Cultures

Accommodations
Students will share a beautiful villa with sea views and within a 5 minute walk to all amenities

All students in good standing may apply

Tuition: Current SCCC tuition and fees (approximately $150 - $185 per credit)
Fees: estimated $2,500* this includes housing, host college fees, excursions, entrance fees and daily breakfast. Tuition, daily bus ride* and airfare are not included

* Your daily bus ride to class will cost about 75 CENTS USD

Hi All, We need to recruit some more students in the next 2 weeks. The plan is to close enrollment on April 15th and purchase our airline tickets soon after. Don't check ticket prices, you'll drive the price up if you look at those dates (cookies will track)

St. Lucia is a small island 27 miles long and 14 miles wide. About one-third of the population lives in its capital city, Castries. St. Lucia has rainforests on its mountainous, volcanic terrain. Since it is a volcanic island, its coastlines are steep, dropping off to offer near-shore snorkeling by coral reefs.
