🌱✨ “You are not here by accident. You belong here.”

A powerful message from Kerdella, a 2026 graduate in Agro-Processing and Bread, Cakes & Pastries, who also successfully completed her CSEC subjects, as she welcomed the newest Form 1 students to the School of Sustainable Agriculture and Culinary Arts. 🎓💚

Her message was clear: TVET is not a place for students who are “slow” or incapable. It is a space where talents are discovered, practical abilities are strengthened and students become skilled, qualified and confident in what they can achieve.

To our new students — you were chosen for a reason. Your skills have value. Your potential is real. And this is only the beginning of what you can become. 🌱🚀

You belong. You are capable. You are skilled. You will be great.

🌱 Farming today with tomorrow in mind.

At the School of Sustainable Agriculture and Culinary Arts, students are learning that agriculture is about more than growing food, it’s about protecting resources, caring for the environment and building stronger, more sustainable communities.

Through responsible farming practices, students are developing the skills to support food security while creating a healthier balance between people, production and nature. 🌿✨

Grow responsibly. Protect what matters. Farm for the future.

✨Celebrating Personal Services at Connecting TVET with Industry Day ✨

Personal Services is an important part of the TVET landscape, providing practical skills that promote confidence, personal well-being, self-care, creativity, and meaningful employment opportunities. More importantly, these skills can open doors to entrepreneurship and self-employment, allowing individuals to build their own businesses and create opportunities for others.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing talented barbers [Joma, Levi & Duff], our beautician [ Samentha of Sammie's Royal Touch] and our masseuse [Gemma Alexander from the Beauty Spot], who joined us for Connecting TVET with Industry Day on Friday, 4th September! 💚

By generously giving their time and providing free services to our students and visitors, they showed us that Personal Services is more than just a skill, it is a pathway to confidence, employment, independence and entrepreneurship.

You didn’t just provide a service, you inspired, encouraged and demonstrated what is possible when a skill becomes a career and a passion becomes a business. 🙌🏽

Thank you for investing in our students and helping us connect skills with real-world opportunities! 💚

👨🏽‍🍳 MEET THE NEW FACE OF TVET! 👨🏽‍🍳
The secret is out… and he has arrived! 🔥

On 1st September 2026, something big happened. The St. Lucia TVET Institute School of Sustainable Agriculture and Culinary Arts proudly unveiled its newest family member our amazing TVET Mascot!

With his chef’s hat, signature beard, big friendly smile and unmistakable TVET style, he brings personality, energy, and a whole lot of character to our school! Welcome to the TVET family 👨🏽‍🍳💚

But he’s more than just a mascot. He represents the hands that create, the minds that innovate, and the skills that build futures. From farm to table, from creativity to craftsmanship, he embodies the spirit of our students who are learning to turn skills into opportunities.

A NEW FACE. A BOLD NEW SPIRIT. A MASCOT WITH CHARACTER! Proudly TVET 💪

We don't just teach skills - WE BRING TVET TO LIFE.

🪵✨ From craftsmanship to career possibilities.

At our TVET Institute Open Day, students had the opportunity to connect with a furniture industry representative who showcased products, shared industry insight and helped students see how practical skills can grow into real careers, businesses and opportunities.

Experiences like these bring learning to life — connecting the classroom with industry and inspiring students to think bigger about where their skills can take them. 🛠️🚀

A special thank you to our industry partners for continuing to invest their time, knowledge and experience in the next generation.
See the craft. Learn the industry. Build your future.

🤝✨ When industry steps into the classroom, inspiration becomes opportunity.
A big thank you to Baron Foods for joining our TVET Institute Open Day as a valued industry partner and giving students the chance to engage directly with real products, real industry knowledge and real career possibilities.

Through conversations, demonstrations and exposure to the world of food production, students were able to see how the skills they’re developing can connect to exciting opportunities beyond the classroom. 🌶️🍴

Partnerships like these help bring TVET to life — showing students that what they learn today can become the foundation for where they go tomorrow. 🇱🇨

Industry. Inspiration. Opportunity.
