The 2026 Investing for Kids Financial Literacy Summer Camp may have ended, but our young people's financial journeys continue!

At our Closing Ceremony, we proudly recognized the winners of our Intentional Savers Challenge. These young people have demonstrated that the lessons of financial literacy become truly meaningful when they are put into practice.

🏆 MEET OUR INTENTIONAL SAVERS CHAMPIONS

🌟 Aquila Florius — Class of 2023

Aquila is a very special member of the Investing for Kids family. She was part of our first-ever cohort when the program launched in 2023.

Now, three years later, she has achieved something extraordinary.

Aquila was named the Intentional Savers Challenge Winner for 2024–2025 AND 2025–2026!

Her savings have now exceeded XCD$6,000, and she has been the highest saver in her class for three consecutive years.

And she is taking her financial journey to the next level.

Aquila is now participating in our two-year Intentional Investment Challenge, where she has an investment portfolio with UTC and is already earning thousands of dollars through her investments. 📈

She is scheduled to officially graduate from the Investing for Kids programme in August 2027. 🎓

🌟 Kyra Dolcy — Class of 2025

Kyra has also given us plenty to celebrate!

After joining the program in 2025, Kyra was named the Intentional Savers Challenge Winner for 2025–2026.

Her savings balance has now exceeded XCD$900, and she has successfully completed Level 2 of the program.

Even more importantly, Kyra has already achieved her first financial goal: becoming the highest saver in her class! 🎯💰

That is what we want our children to understand: financial success doesn't begin with how much money you have. It begins with the habits you develop.

Today, Friday, August 21, 2026, SLUDTERA Inc. proudly celebrated the achievements of our young financial champions at the Closing Ceremony of the Investing for Kids Financial Literacy Summer Camp 2026, held at the Central Library on Bourbon Street, Castries.

💰🌟 INTENTIONAL SAVERS CHALLENGE

Perhaps the most inspiring part of our program is seeing children put their financial knowledge into practice throughout the year.

To qualify for the Intentional Savers Challenge, children must deposit a minimum of EC$25 every month for an entire year, with no withdrawals permitted. They earn their own money through chores and mini-businesses and learn to consistently save toward their financial goals.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: SHOPPING ON A BUDGET CHALLENGE CANCELLED

Dear Investing for Kids Family,

We regret to inform you that today's Shopping on a Budget Challenge, scheduled for today, Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at CPJ Fresh Market, has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control.

The challenge will no longer take place today and cannot be rescheduled this year as the summer camp ends tomorrow, God willing.

We know that many of you were looking forward to seeing our Level 2 participants put their budgeting skills to the test in this exciting real-world challenge. We are therefore especially disappointed that circumstances have made it necessary to cancel the activity.

We extend our sincere appreciation to CPJ St. Lucia CPJ St. Lucia (Fresh Market) for their willingness to partner with us and support our mission of helping children develop practical financial literacy skills.

We also apologize to our parents, children, media partners and supporters for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation.

🎉 The "Shopping on a Budget Challenge" is BACK! 🛒💰

We’re excited to announce that the Shopping on a Budget Challenge returns this year with the amazing support of CPJ St. Lucia CPJ St. Lucia! 🙌

Once again, they have partnered with Sludtera Inc. to give our Level 2 Kids Financial Literacy Summer Camp participants the chance to put their budgeting and spending knowledge to the ultimate test.

📅 Date: Wednesday, August 19th, 2026
🕐 Time: 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
📍 Location: CPJ Fresh Market, Orange Grove Plaza, Bois D’orange

Here’s the challenge:
🛍 Each child has 6 minutes to shop for essential items from their own prepared list while their parent/guardian pushes the trolley.
💵 They must stay within a budget of EC$300.
❌ If they go over, they lose!
🏆 The winner will be the child whose trolley total is closest to the budget without going over.

📢 We’re inviting the public to come out, see the excitement, support the children and their parents, and cheer them on as they tackle this real-world money management challenge!

SLUDTERA Gears Up for the 2026 Investing for Kids Financial Literacy Summer Camp

Castries, August 3rd, 2026 – The 2026 Investing for Kids Financial Literacy Summer Camp which will be held online from August 10th-20th, with a vibrant Graduation ceremony slated for the 21st.

During the two week period, children between the ages of 8–14 will participate in Levels 1 through 3 of the online camp, engaging in interactive activities designed to improve their financial literacy, teach money management skills, and build confidence in entrepreneurship.

The Graduation Ceremony on August 21st, will be a celebration of achievements, with awards that will be presented to participants for Perfect Attendance, Outstanding Performance, and Top Scores in the End-of-Camp Quizzes.
